The World Journalism Institute (WJI) is offering a one-week, journalism intensive course in Europe from 5 August to 12 August, 2023 at the Continental Theological Seminary, near Brussels, Belgium. For those accepted into the program, all costs are fully scholarship-funded.
The purpose of the course is to equip Christians from Europe and beyond with the skills and experience needed to report globally with a Biblical worldview. The course will include discussions on Christian worldview and on-the-street reporting assignments.
The instructors are experienced reporters and editors with WORLD News Group. All instruction and assignments will be in English. Students will produce publication-ready articles and multimedia pieces by the end of the week.
WJI invites applications from Christians who are seeking to engage their mission field and skills through reporting and writing from a Biblical worldview. Experienced journalists are welcome to apply, as well as anyone who aspires to improve their writing in order to build the Kingdom of God.
For those interested, please refer to this flyer for more information, WJI’s website, and the online application. Please contact Naomi Balk, assistant director of WJI, with any questions about the course.
