miss it

Ray Mensah began editing Voice of Missions magazine in Ghana in 1997. He completed journalism school in the early ’90s and other advanced studies since then, but nothing further that was related to communication. “All these years since then I have been yearning for a course that will enable me to sharpen my writing and editing skills and keep abreast of current trends and tools,” says Ray.

The Introduction to Magazine Publishing course will cover the essentials of magazine publishing, including management, design, and editing. “These are big areas in which I need assistance,” says Ray. “I am extremely excited about the topics to be treated.”

Magazine Training International provides practical training to Christian leaders around the world that allows them to answer a calling to publish magazines. These magazines, whether print or digital, are powerful vehicles to encourage fellow believers and spread the message of the Gospel. “Communication is so crucial in our present times,” says Ray. “Knowing how to communicate effectively cannot be over-emphasized.”

At the conference, Ray desires to “improve greatly in my role as editor and publisher, and also learn new stuff to empower our editorial team.”

Give today to bring the training for which Ray and others like him are yearning. You can give Christians in Africa the tools they need to faithfully serve Christ in the ministry of Christian publishing.
