In response to the pandemic, Christianity Today started translating its best COVID-19 articles to help more Christian wisdom reach more affected churches. A year later, CT has produced 500+ translations across 10+ languages, reaching 2 million readers. Get a behind-the-scenes look at how CT built a successful multilingual publishing initiative from scratch, harnessing AI technology and its readers to not only reach new markets but strengthen the loyalty of its existing bilingual readers.

Jeremy Weber is director of CT Global at Christianity Today, seeking to fulfill founder Billy Graham's vision of a "central nervous system" for the global body of Christ so that the best Christian storytellers and sages from every nation can inform and inspire fellow believers in every other nation. An award-winning journalist based in Chicago, Jeremy has traveled to 35 countries and launched CT's multilingual publishing initiative, which produced 350+ translations in 2020 and reached 1.5 million readers. He graduated from Wheaton College, and has worked at Christianity Today since 2008. Jeremy taught MTI's Magazine Editing Course in Kenya in 2018 and has taught online with MTI.

Jost Zetzsche is a translation industry and translation technology consultant, an author on various aspects of translation, and an ATA-certified English-to-German technical translator. In 1999, Jost co-founded International Writers' Group, LLC, on the Oregon coast. Originally from Hamburg, Germany, he earned a Ph.D. in the field of Chinese translation history and linguistics at the University of Hamburg. Since 2016, Jost has contracted with United Bible Societies to help create and curate the Translation Insights and Perspectives tool, and in 2021 he published the book Characters with Character: 50 Ways to Rekindle Your Love Affair with Language.
