Magazine Training International is asked a lot of the same questions. Here are some answers to the most common ones:
Q: I really want to attend the next on-site training conference. When is it and where will it be?
A: As soon as we know and have enough information about our events we post them to our training events page. We have numerous online events throughout the year, but the next on-site training event will be in Ghana in 2022.
Q: Do you provide training and resources in languages other than English?
A: Yes, we do! We have training manuals on magazine writing, editing, design, and management in various languages, as well as our DVD courses on design and management that have various subtitles. Additionally, we offer interpretation during on-site conferences if there is enough interest in a particular language. We hope that plans for an online live workshop in French will come to fruition in 2020.
Q: Does MTI have a magazine?
A: MTI is not a magazine, nor do we write magazine articles. We provide training opportunities and resources to help you publish a magazine. We believe in the importance of local writers creating relevant content for your magazine’s readers. See this blog post for the reason why.
Q: I missed the live workshop. Can I still watch it?
A: Yes! We understand that you may not have time to watch it live, or that it falls at an inconvenient time in your part of the world. All of our workshops are recorded, available the next day, and can be watched whenever is a good time for you. Check out all of them in the MTI Online section of our website.
