Christian organizations and church ministries are recognized as a deep pool of resources for compassion work and particularly in human trafficking. National and international leadership now offer toolkits for faith based organizations to move well-intentioned leaders in helpful directions. Yet, the risk for not representing our Christian beliefs and values is high. How can we write to encourage and educate our community to respond with “knowledge and insight” (Phil. 1:9) that leverages our resources, does no harm, and serves to reflect true religion that cares for widows and orphans and remains unpolluted by this world (James 1:27)?
