“What I’m learning here shows that I should have done more research, more preparation, more planning, before I plunged into [starting a magazine],” says Agatha Akonor-Mills, a freelance editor in Ghana. Agatha attended the Introduction to Magazine Publishing course in Accra in 2022. “I’ve gained a lot,” she says regarding the training of Magazine Training International. “I’ve always been interested in magazines, but this is the first real magazine training that I’ve had in all these years.”
