Sonnie Gitonga

An author, transformational speaker, and counselor by passion and profession, Sonnie Gitonga is the founder of Scars to Stars Foundation, which focuses on assisting girls who are orphans or who have experienced other adversities. She has been the chairperson of World Orphans Day in East Africa and in 2015 was named among the top 40 women under the age of 40 in Kenya for her outstanding contribution to society. Sonnie is passionate about raising a purposeful generation of individuals who will impact their society and beyond. She empowers, equips, and engages especially in areas of emotional wellness, personal development, and relationships under Aquila Life Training—The School of Life. She is currently pursuing her MA in clinical mental health at Wheaton College.
