Kristy Glaspie lives in Seattle, Washington, U.S., where she is the manager of the content and story team at World Vision U.S., an international Christian humanitarian organization, and also serves as editor-in-chief of World Vision magazine and World Vision News & Stories. She earned a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, and has won numerous feature writing awards throughout her 18 years of writing and editing. Outside of work, she serves on her church’s global missions committee and enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband and friends.
