Jayson Casper is the Middle East correspondent for Christianity Today, resident since 2019 with his family of six in Beirut, Lebanon. Prior to that he reported from Cairo, Egypt, and has lived additionally in Jordan, Tunisia, and Mauritania. Competent in Arabic and with a degree in Islamic Studies, Jayson reports at the intersection of religion, politics, and culture. He is thankful for his role in bringing understanding between misunderstood peoples.
