Dr. Miriam Adeney

Dr. Miriam Adeney is a professor at Seattle Pacific University and the author of more than 200 articles and six books, including Kingdom Without Borders:  The Untold Story of Global Christianity and Daughters of Islam: Building Bridges with Muslim Women. She has served on the boards of Christianity Today and Media Associates International, and has taught and mentored writers on five continents in several languages. For four years she was publications director for the Philippine InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Dr. Adeney is former president of the American Society of Missiology, a member of the Diaspora task force of the Lausanne Movement, a mission associate of the World Evangelical Alliance, and a recipient of a lifetime achievement award from Christians for Biblical Equality. She lectures widely at conferences and universities. Dr. Adeney earned an M.A. in journalism and a Ph.D. in anthropology.
