An award-winning writer, photojournalist, academic and conference speaker, Dr. Michael Ray Smith taught for faith-based universities across the nation. Recently he taught at LCC International University in Klaipeda, Lithuania and he works with the graduate faculty at Regent University teaching online classes. Michael spent a decade in the newsroom and published freelance articles for publications such as Christianity Today and Religion Unplugged. This year Evangelical Press Association recognized his work with a first-place award. He holds three graduate degrees including one from Penn State University. Michael taught with Magazine Training International in Nairobi, Kenya and Manila, Philippines, and has served as a live workshop speaker for MTI.
