Asif Aqeel is a newspaper journalist and Pakistan’s only correspondent for World Watch Monitor. He was the first reporter in mainstream English media to focus on covering the issues of Pakistan’s Christian community in international media. He has traveled internationally, studying and reporting on the Christian and Hindu communities in Muslim-majority countries. Previously, Aqeel worked for the Center for Legal Aid Assistance and Settlement, for the Daily Times as a sub-editor, and for the Applied Socioeconomic Research Resource Center, where he focused on issues of religious minorities and women. He also served as an associate producer for Express 24/7, the only English TV channel in Pakistan. Aqeel earned a B.A. in journalism.
