
Dr. Michael Longinow
Dr. Michael Longinow is a professor of journalism and integrated media at Biola University. Previously, he spent several years as a daily newspaper reporter in metro-Chicago and metro-Atlanta, and he taught English and Journalism at Asbury University. Michael has published numerous chapters in anthologies about the history of journalism, Christians in media, and the role of media in American society. He earned his masters degree in editorial journalism from the University of Illinois-Urbana, which guided his interest in investigative journalism. He was the editorial cartoonist on the Wheaton College newspaper. He earned a Ph.D from the University of Kentucky. Michael will retire in 2026 from Biola University and will relocate with his wife and golden retriever to north Phoenix.
