Julia Bicknell
Julia Bicknell is executive editor and director of World Watch Monitor, a news service focusing on reporting on the global Church under pressure. She co-founded World Watch Monitor in 2012 after a 30-year career with the BBC in the U.K. Bicknell has spent her entire career reporting on crises, beginning with the death of John Lennon in 1980, and followed by war in the Falkland Islands and terrorist activity in London. She has traveled widely covering crises in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Her six-month stint in Vietnam resulted in a vision for training journalists in developing countries. From 2004 to 2012 she delivered major media projects across Africa. World Watch Monitor has steadily built a reputation for informed and credible reporting.
