Patrick Johnstone, strategist, author, and futurologist, is former international regional director of Europe for WEC International. He is the author of Operation World, which has sold well over 2.5 million copies in 20 languages. He also wrote Serving God in a Migrant Crisis, The Future of the Global Church, The Church is Bigger than You Think, and other books. Much of Johnstone’s research is aimed at making information readily available to potential recruits and missionaries, and at developing practical strategies to speed the final completion of world evangelization. He has been closely involved with the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization’s Strategy Working Group, the AD2000 and Beyond Movement, the Joshua Project, and the World Christian Encyclopedia. Johnstone earned a B.S. in chemistry at Bristol University, and attended Bible college in South Africa.
