A conference site in Sopron, Hungary, has been found for the Crisis Publishing Initiative, Magazine Training International (MTI) announced yesterday. The gathering will be held Oct. 15-18, 2017, at the Hotel Lövér, a three-star spa hotel which often hosts conferences.

The hotel has offered conference participants a reduced price of 44 Euros for a single room, including breakfast and supper, or 60 Euros for a double room with breakfast and supper included.

Sopron is an ancient town nestled in a nature reserve on the Austrian border. Located in a heavily wooded reserve, the spa hotel is a favorite of guests from Austria and Germany, with it’s many spa services as well as hiking trails and bike paths in the forest surrounding the hotel.

In addition to outdoor activities, services offered by the hotel include a fitness center, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, solarium, and spa treatments. Car parking is available free. Sopron may be reached by train or air from nearby Vienna or from Budapest.

The Crisis Publishing Initiative is expected to draw Christian writers, editors, and publishers worldwide who face the challenge of reporting on catastrophic events. Participants will learn how to ferret out and report the truth in complex, rapidly-changing situations and how to bring a biblical perspective on events. Participants will also receive helpful resources and reliable background information on crises worldwide.
