Magazine Training International is headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. MTI programs are funded by Christian publishers in the United States and Europe.
Who is MTI?
MTI is a missions organization dedicated to strengthening, encouraging, and providing resources to Christian magazine staff as they seek to build the church and reach their societies for Christ. MTI has been active in East-Central Europe since 1989, and in Asia since 2000, offering consulting, producing a variety of print and digital resources, and organizing 60 conferences on every facet of magazine publishing.
In the last 24 years, well over a thousand staff members of some 500 Christian magazines from more than 60 countries have attended MTI conferences in countries throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. Training manuals covering magazine editing, magazine article writing, magazine design, magazine management, and advanced business are available in more than 10 languages. An MP3 audio writing course in English and DVD courses on the Business of Publishing and Design for Magazines with subtitles in four languages are also available.
