Christians in the Media
Christians in the Media is a growing group of media professionals and
communications students who are working together to develop and mature
in a personal relationship with Jesus. Their mission is to bring Glory
to God by introducing media workers and communications students to God.
Not everyone involved in Christians in the Media (either the church or
network ministries) works in the media and anyone who is interested in

Communication for Development and Learning (CDL), a secular
Bangalore-based non-governmental organization, works on
communication-related activities with a special focus on print media in
India. It also provides training in media skills, media research,

COMIX35 (ROX35 Media, Inc.) is a non-profit, nondenominational ministry
which holds trainings and consultations on the popular, sequential art
medium known as comics, the world's most widely-read literature form.
The experienced and professional COMIX35 trainers show missionaries and
other literature ministers how to produce quality comics and use them
effectively. They also provide help in creating and producing these

David C. Cook, is a non-profit organization that offers training and
product to Christian publishers in developing countries. It seeks to
train others to establish and improve communications organizations in
their own countries so that more people can come to know Christ around
the world. Cook publishes English and Spanish training materials on
leadership, marketing, distribution, sales, finances, and editorial
work for the United States and the world. Responding to regional needs,
it also offers workshops on such topics as electronic publishing,

The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) is an
international, not-for-profit, trade organization serving its industry
by promoting excellence and professionalism, sharing relevant data,
stimulating Christian fellowship, raising the effectiveness of member
houses, and equipping them to meet the needs of the changing

EPA also has membership categories for individual freelancers and for

The Galilean Institute of Communication (GIC) is a ministry of Galilean
International Film and Television Services. It held its first basic
audio-visual workshop in 1979. Since then, it has conducted short-term
basic, advanced, and professional level courses on visual media
production, TV Presenters and News Readers Courses, Media Awareness
Training programs and Writers workshops. Since 2000 "Praise and worship" workshops, "Use of Film for Bible Study
workshops" and Consultations/Conferences on "Covergent Media" and
"Youth, wholeness and visual Media" are set up in various language

David Aikman, senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and
former foreign correspondent for Time Magazine. Its purpose is
three-fold: to build a global community of Christians in journalism,

Christians to enter it as a career; to model excellence, integrity, and
the highest ethical standards; and to encourage journalists to explore
all of the possibilities of making our profession a vehicle for truth

non-partisan, non-sectarian association affiliated with the Ethics and

The Indochina Media Memorial Foundation (IMMF) is a secular
organization set up by journalists to assist colleagues in a region
emerging from decades of war, poverty, and isoloation. The foundation
organizes journalism training courses to support journalists from
Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam. IMMF was founded in 1991 in
memory of those killed on all sides while covering the wars in Vietnam,
Laos, and Cambodia since 1945. The emphasis of IMMF is on reviewing
basic journalism skills and promoting good journalism practice.
Training courses include print, broadcast, and photojournalism and
cover a wide range of issues relevant to this region (eg. environment,
agriculture, ethnic minorities, cultural change, social issues, and
